One observes that, after the deception was documented, the Poles didn't want those responsible for THAT missile attack to be "Article 5'd...."
A game with different rules for opposing sides is not a game. And a war which expects to be seen as if a game -- think "war games" among those delightful euphemisms of the moment -- is not a real war. Poland pretends to be at war, while officially at peace with Russia. Declare war? It's interesting that NATO hasn't.

What is a missile? What does “shoot down” mean?
Shooting down a missile is non trivial and mostly doesn’t happen. By anyone.
The problems of radar cross sectional area plus velocities plus short range at initial detection render most attempts silly.
People often don’t realize what happens. Missiles are often ballistic, meaning they are no longer propelled. They were launched, used up their fuel and then coasted (not flew, coasted) to the target.
What would “Shooting down” mean for such a missile? It was headed down anyway. If you hit it, you would hope for what? Disable the warhead? That means when it hits the ground you don’t think the warhead will explode?
Understand that the media knows nothing.

It doesn’t matter, Vlads missiles have been hitting with extreme accuracy all over Ukraine, from the east to the very western border, at will.
The sheer amount over two years is nothing but stunning, a far cry from the western MSM deceivers who announced daily Vlad is running out, any day now.
Fact is, Vlads manufacturing base is HUGE, and unstoppable with all resources and commodities needed located in the Russian borders….they lack nothing. So much for Nobama’s quote” Russia is just a big gas station”…the crime is how many in brain dead governments believed that tripe.

One of the many, many downsides to sticking our noses in this conflict is we are teaching the Russians and more importantly the Chinese how to defeat our missile defenses.
