“ Given the accident today, I figured Freeper vocabulary needed expansion.”

Good information. It’s new to me. Thanks.
Thank you for adding a word to my vocabulary!
Same for the difference between Oh $#!+ and Oh F@€k
That’s a word I’ll remember for my next Scrabble game.
Thanks. I needed to be learned.
Thanks! Very useful info!
I never knew of this term before right now.
I waa at first, thinking the term “allusion”, meaning tovhint at something, was being referred to.
So, for the Love of God, can we now switch back to Common Law and restore our Republic?
Thanks.

Thanky... as an old coastie the term was in my vocabulary at one point in time but forgotten. As soon as I saw it... BAM!
I guess that I need to keep scrolling...
link does not work
Thanks. I knew that “collision” as generally used refers to contact between objects that are both in motion, but I hadn’t ever run across the word “allision”. Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary doesn’t have a definition, but the Oxford English Dictionary lists “allision” as an obsolete word and defines it as “The action of dashing against or striking with violence upon” which at least implies that one of the objects is stationary.
This is a much bigger event the government/media is letting on to. The port of Baltimore is closed for along time. That bridge or tunnel replacement will cost billions not to mention damages, possibly causing insurers to go bankrupt rather than pay. Guess who pays then.
Is it the same as the difference between allusion and collusion?
