I’m active law enforcement. Just over 20 years. As we both know, people can be very, very evil. But 95 times out of 100, people are just stupid idiots, not evil. This was vast incompetence coupled with mechanical failure and flat out bad luck that they were pointed at the pylon. At least that’s what I’m hearing.
And that may end up proving to be true. However we need to pursue a full terrorist attack investigation until all the facts prove otherwise. In my not so humble opinion.
Then there’s the theory that the barge was cyber attacked and control was hijacked by terrorists — to disrupt the critical flow of goods between north and south. Those are loads that cannot pass through tunnels, either because of the size, or the danger (flammable, chemical, etc.), of the cargo.
