Liz Cheney spoke at the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University last weekend.
It was another opportunity for Liz to slam and smear her former party. Liz Cheney left Congress after suffering the worst defeat by a sitting lawmaker in US history in her Wyoming primary. Not even Democrats could bail out the old Trump-hater.
In her most memorable speech to date, Cheney compared herself to Abe Lincoln after getting trounced by 28 points.
Last weekend, Liz was back on her soapbox. This time Liz took on the entire Republican Party. Her new line is how dangerous Republicans have become since Trump arrived on the scene. She wants all Republicans to lose.
Liz Cheney: “T believe that we’re in a situation where the future of the democracy depends upon making sure the Republicans are not in the majority in the House and in the Senate in 2025. I say that as somebody who has significant disagreements with policies of many of my Democratic colleagues… We can’t survive leaders who are going to torch the Constitution.”
Cheney then announced that she may run for office again. Wow. What a nutcase.
Please elucidate on that point.

The GOP machinery has much to do with our demise. When looking locally, you’ll notice poor Republican turnout on important off-year elections which often benefit the RINOs and swindlers.
Turnout has always been a problem.
The funny thing about her is she believes she is beloved by the democrats and media whores who fawn over her actions. In reality, they hate her with just as much passion as her father and Trump. She is also a political whore and no one respects whores.
Any public policy that they (DemoRats) disagree with is a “threat to democracy”.

They used to be able to count on getting the votes from all conservatives in the past who held their nose & supported all Republicans as part of a coalition (& makes up 50+% of the electorate. She & her pals burned that bridge to the ground... for the last time... a while ago!!! The establishment wanted a war with MAGA & they lost. As a result, Mitch McConnell stomped his feet because he saw the writing on the wall & announced retirement; Kevin McCarthy lost the Speakership for being a sellout, says we’re doomed for having thrown him out & joined MSNBC; RNC Ronna no longer governs the Republican Party & says the crazies are going to fail without her....... & lesbihonest Lizzy pulled shenanigans, lost her seat & found out that we never liked her anyway!! So now, after losing & suffering from sour grapes, they are confirming what rank & file conservatives have known all along: they were just all talk & have ultimately always favored the other team! At least we are being honest about who we are & where we stand now! Good Giddens!
