Putin is an old-fashioned KGB guy. He expects respect from the security and military organizations to be automatic. But even Russian troops deep in the sauce do not appreciate having their lives tossed away with offensives that make baby steps toward the next mill town. They also see the truth about how unpopular they are in the temporarily occupied areas.
Putin wishes he had the power and numbers that Brezhnev had but things are very different now.

I am continuing to pray for the innocent people who were murdered in Moscow. If there is perhaps a blessing to be found in this atrocity maybe the Russians will empathize with the Ukrainians who have suffered similar tragedies in the past decade.
I can understand how someone near the rear end of an elephant could mistake that smell for Putin. It’s an honest mistake.

The Russian people understand but feel helpless aginst the Putin/Kremlin military political machine
We have little information.
But I would like to direct attention to a map of the region. Travel from Tajikistan to Moscow requires visas for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and then Russia. Border control of these countries would have to be traversed, all without speaking that particular language.
Bribery? No more easy in those countries than any other, and it would risk the officer in question demanding a vehicle search. Note Kazakhstan is a rich country now, with all that oil and gas discovered. They hosted the most recent BRICS economics forum.
Then there is the Russian border, which also would have to traverse. In general, it is just too much risk at too many borders to sign onto a Tajikistan theory.
It’s too far to carry that much weaponry. More players have to have been involved, each with their own visa obstacles accumulating weapons. Some major state player has to have done this. Probably above Ukraine’s paygrade.

I have 14 children: 3 bio and 2 sibling groups of 11 adopted from Russia. I am very Blessed.
I have had parents & grandparents ask if I would consider more adoptions. We probably would.
We have welcomed some in crisis into our home. The local sheriff has our number to help with youth cast out of their home.
However, currently I try to assist repairing &/or help to maintain within their current broken family system.
