Fair enough. It’s up to Russia and Ukraine now, to decide the terms of their peace. If there’s a constructive role the U.S. can play in making that happen, then great. But we shouldn’t be doing anything to prolong it, such as continuing to fund it. There was a time, before the war started, that we could have prevented it. We (Biden) chose not to. And when we did we forfeited or moral standing to dictate the outcome.
The Russians have the advantage now. So why would they settle for a ceasefire?
