If Massachusetts ends up getting an even bigger influx of migrants from Haiti, we may have Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to thank.
That’s because the Republican recently floated the idea of sending more migrants from Florida to Martha’s Vineyard.
“We do have our transport program also that’s going to be operational,” DeSantis said, according to Politico. “Haitians land in the Florida Keys, their next stop very well may be Martha’s Vineyard.”

I thought DeSantis was going to stop the Haitian invasion, not help to bring them further in.
Sure, provide free transportation to more violent criminals crossing the border illegally, further into the U.S. interior, where they scatter to all points.
These people are brilliant!
FLASHBACK: March 13, 2024, GO:
The governor said he is sending a mix of law enforcement, fish and wildlife and National Guard personnel to the waters around Florida’s southern peninsula.
Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, anticipating what his office called the “possibility for invasion,” ordered more than 250 law enforcement officers and soldiers to the Florida Keys on Wednesday to STOP Haitian migrants...

Have all Haitians join Karin Jean Pierre in Washington DC.
Without federal support the two are not mutually exclusive.

Remember last time he sent them to Martha’s Vineyard how barack and michelle obama was speaking up on behalf of the foreign “newcomers?”
I don’t recall that either. hussein obama is the one that ignited this foreign invasion. He doesn’t mind dumping them in on you. He doesn’t mind dumping them on blacks or middle income whites. It’s safe on the Vineyard.
Why not build low-income housing on the Vineyard? Why not set up tents?
Republicans should be hammering this home to black communities that are having them dumped on them. Republicans should be reminding blacks and Latino citizens every day how much we’re paying for them.
The republican party is asleep at the wheel. Ronna’s ass couldn’t hit the door soon enough.
Wow! Nothing can be that funny

Remember that part about me stopping them? I lied - Ron DeSantis
Martha’s Vinyard is lovely in the off season.
Excellent! Massachusetts and Boston deserve 'em!
Again, that’s all our side does is talk talk talk maybe maybe maybe could could could thinking, thinking thinking, etc. etc. If you’re gonna say it back it up with actions other than that keep your freaking mouth shut! SICK OF THIS CRAP!
Seattle actually prefers their precious 'people of color' over evil white people, send thousands of them.
I heard that Florida is also being overrun with Haitians. Don’t know how true, but Laura Loomer is reporting on it. And she’s an excellent journalist. So DeSantis shut the hell up and do it.
And we know illegal criminals stay put once we provide them free transportation to the U.S. interior!
Good gawd!

Gaetz: What are we doing to ensure that these people are not paroled into the United States as the administration has done on the southern border?
DeSantis: Nothing. I’m helping the administration instead of stopping them like I said I would.
send them back to the country they came from.
On Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis claimed responsibility for ordering two planeloads of migrants to travel from Texas to Martha's Vineyard, ..... Aboard the planes there were some 50 migrants, including children, mostly from Venezuela.
Taryn Fenske, DeSantis' communications director, has confirmed that the Florida legislature approved the use of $12 million to "transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,"

Actual cost have never been published, as far as I can find.
And this is from San Antonio, to martha's vineyard.... Since it's not his money, I guess he doesn't care
