You are determined to believe the Russian lies because your religion would be shattered if you were to acknowledge the truth. Ukraine was once a very corrupt society. How could it be otherwise, having been controlled by Russians for so long? Even after the Maidan it was still bad. Remember Biden's famous episode re: Burisma was under Poroshenko.
