The DOJ has sued Apple for Anti Trust for keeping iPhones and iOS secure for the past 15 years and keeping them what the consumers want. The DOJ wants them to be as open as Android. Claiming that Apple has illegally competed against Android by keeping developers out of competing for Apple’s customers by preventing their products from connecting into it and pushing other competitors out of competing. Calling Apple iPhones a monopoly, Merrick Garland attacked Apple for a compendium of complaints for not making the Apple not playing nice with its competitors. This flies in the face of factual reality where Apple is still a minority competitor in the worldwide cellular phone market.—

There’s a zillion alternatives for everything Apple offers from the iPhone itself to apps people can choose to use on it like apple music (spotify, pandora, etc.). This is just pathetic. And the lawsuit includes things like iMessage not being on other devices, game streaming, and other minor crap. One doesn’t have to like Apple to think this is just political.

Its not a monopoly. Its a duopoly between Apple and Google. Both are evil and need to be busted into a million pieces - GOOGLE ESPECIALLY. By “Google” I of course mean Alphabet which includes Youtube.

I remember when blackberry had a very big hold on the business marker. Anyone can knock apple off its top spot with a better/cheaper option. This is stupid. Government shakedown for cash.

All yall who use an Android smartphone... how did you accomplish that apparently nigh-impossible achievement of NOT buying or operating an Apple device? Apparently you need a trophy or something, according to this worthless Federal Government.

A AG that its more concerned with smartphone competition than he is that nearly a million illegal invaders are crossing the US Southern border every month - and now a growing number across the Northern border, from what I am hearing...

But yeah - lets pick a fight with Apple because they make it impossible to buy and use anything but Apple... (or so they claim).
