According to Arkansas State Police and ATF, Bryan Malinowski, the executive director of the Clinton National Airport, was being served a federal search warrant when he shot toward ATF, and they returned fire.
The airport director was shot at least twice as authorities said he suffered gunshot wounds. Police said an ATF agent was shot once with non-life-threatening injuries. Both were sent to nearby hospitals.
De Bruyn said she witnessed an ambulance, firetruck and multiple law enforcement agencies swarmed the cul-de-sac and adjacent street

Yes, this is a very strange story...watching with interest.
A continuing saga perhaps, involving Arkansas Airports and Clintons? Go figure; I don’t know.

“What is going on here?”
I agree. This IS an odd story.
A pre-dawn raid by the ATF to grab a guy who probably could have been arrested at his office?
What kind of nasty stuff could tis guy have been involved in that would necessitate a raid like this?
Was the guy in fact guilty of something and returned fire?
Did the ATF announce their raid or was it a no-knock and the guy thought it was a home invasion?
It’s all pretty weird.
I’ve read elsewhere that this was a 6 AM no-knock (or one second knock) ATF raid. Kick down the door stuff.
Could it be that this guy was awoken from a sleep, panicked, and thought he was being robbed?
Time will tell, but only if the ATF is forthcoming about the incident.
When did the Mena airport have it’s name changed LOL?

Probably a Trump supporter
Hey Amerika! Tired of Nikita’s “Built Back Better” program yet? Anybody know what the hell is going on? The boy wasn’t kidding with his SOTU Show, “We Will Bury You” table banging rant.
Womp womp. My condolences to the janitors who had to clean up the mess.
ATF agent drilled? Kool story bro.
That’s a shame.
The TV station reported the authorities would not provide the them a copy of the search warrant. It sounds like the raiders were trying to get their story straight.
I hope the authorities had a sound reason for busting into the house when this guy could have been arrested any time. This story on the surface, really does not make sense.
Another typical Clinton campaign event. Lots of DRAMA!!! I guess the Hillary faceplants and being thrown in the back seat of the car are out for this campaign.
I heard one report that the ATF guy was shot by an ATF guy.
Haven’t heard it again.
It sure is. I want to know if it was a no knock raid.
“What kind of nasty stuff could tis guy have been involved in that would necessitate a raid like this?”
The original, and as far as I’m concerned, the only reason for a no-knock raid it to prevent the evidence from being flushed down the toilet. That’s it. As far as I’m concerned, almost anyone can be arrested at work, or the store parking lot...there is no reason to invade someone’s home. Especially, when home invasion is a real danger. But that takes planning and has to be done on someone else’s schedule. Is that the reason? The ATF, or whoever, has a schedule to keep? A deputy told me they were under huge pressure to write citations, so he never stops a car full of young blacks or illegals because it takes up his whole day processing the arrestees when he’s supposed to be out writing tickets. ATF doesn’t do that, but they may be under the same type of time constraints. If so, this needs to be addressed and resolved. No-knock raids are very dangerous for the people being “served.”
I think it could be very possible the guy could just have been responding to banging on his door in the predawn dark with a gun in his hand and the ATF just opened up on him.
Does the AFT do any other raids except no knock?
