Is this announcement to stir up debate, get buy in for us actively participating in a Chinese civil war? Will Americans go for this and accept the consequence--an end to cheap Chinese products.
What would be the choice: Defend Taiwan (give up Chinese products and Tik-Tok, etc. that fund China) or Surrender Taiwan (to keep Tik-Tok and an uninterrupted supply of cheap Chinese products)?
