GBNews is not particularly “biased” at all. They just have a few right-leaning commentators on there, e.g. Nigel Farage; otherwise they remind me of Fox News.
Ofcom was created by the Blair gov’t.
The Conservatives “opposed” it at the time. But they have been in gov’t since 2010, and have not abolished it.
In fact, the only changes they have made to Ofcom actually made it more powerful and intrusive.
Same as other “Conservatives” in every Western country, they will not exercise power on behalf of the people that voted for them and that they supposedly represent.
