Basically, the Methodist church has now been divided into liberal and conservative. However, I do not reveal my theological position on Free Republic as I have developed “Frenemies.” BTW, clergy do not have freedom to express their personal political viewpoint in the ‘real’ world.
Interestingly, that is probably why there are many clergy on Free Republic. LOL
Understood. There are some serious folks on this forum, including me. However, I do want to learn about other issues that I I know nothing about, but it is hard to sift through the emotion sometimes. Thanks for sharing. There ar many on this forum that want to incite emotion because I suspect that they enjoy getting ‘clicks’ from people and enjoy causing a reaction. Others are truly passionate and want to express their views. At any rate, it is an educational forum in many respects.
