A United States Reaper drone was forced to make an emergency landing as its GPS signal was jammed while traveling in Polish airspace.
The drone landed near the town of Mirosławiec in northwestern Poland on Tuesday, March 19, Knewz.com has learned.
Poland’s Command of the Armed Forces announced the emergency landing in a post on X. The agency shared a photo of the MQ-9 Reaper without saying why it made an emergency landing.
According to Newsweek, the Pentagon confirmed the emergency landing of the piloted aircraft. The defense agency added that the aircraft was "conducting routine training operations when it lost connection with the command station, affecting their ability to operate the aircraft."

Great OPSEC announcing this.
Dumbasses. Squared.
Are we winning?…
Huh? A drone with a pilot?
Send them a bill. It appears they need an editor. I read right by that.
Oh yeah, we are always winning. Just like we did in Afghanistan.
You’d think they would have a laser based inertial system as a backup. These days it can’t be a very big weight or power penalty.
I think they mean the pilot operating the drone remotely, lost contact with it.
“...conducting routine training operations...”
It was dem qwazy Wussians again.
Was this drone in Ukraine airspace at any time during its flight?
Reapers are piloted (from Nevada, New Mexico, etc.)...not an autonomous drone.

Ping
They already have electro jamming for many of their vehicles.
Ummm...drones are NOT ‘piloted’.
They are remotely operated, aka ‘remotely piloted’.
‘Piloted’ denotes a manned cockpit, and the MQ9 definitely IS also an autonomous drone.
