Just a few short years ago, it was an article of faith here that Obama was completely incompetent, just an empty suit doing his shadowy masters' bidding.
Maybe Obama is just the conduit for the people who really run things. Biden’s staff might question orders coming directly from Obama’s masters, while Biden (esp. given his failing memory) probably wouldn’t have any idea who they are.
