It’s a good thing that a 57 year old named “Bob” that you have never heard of, never voted for, and have absolutely no ability to contact, or any option of questioning has just made a decision that massively effects your life, permanently, and will cost you a huge portion of your life savings and tons of your time..
And as it is an “administrative” position and decision. You have no option to complain, or have any sort of elected representative alter, change, or cancel this decision.
Public service has now come to mean that the public exists to service its so-called servants.
