Probably as much as Floridians like JEB! In both cases, reasonably good governors, should have quit while they were ahead.

Pence was good as a US Rep for Indiana. He was good as a talk show host. He was good as a Governor for Indiana. Then Trump picked him for VP and he went to crap. The deep state must have some serious goods on him.
I am from Indiana and never liked Mike Pence. He was a weak sister Governor and would have made a weak bush like president.
