When it is a pack of them size desn’t matter much.


Can well be true, I’ll give you that. And there are some pretty big jr. high kids, but a big guy will intimidate most jr. high students just by size and attitude alone. And hopefully, the big guy would not be alone in the situation I saw. As I said before, there should have been adults in the hallway in the first place and certainly when the hooting and hollering that accompanied the beat down.

As a part of my checkered past, I worked aa a teacher in a juvenile detention facility dealing with jr high and high school aged criminals, so I do have at least a clue as to what I’m writing about.

I have not seen a follow up on how badly the victim was hurt. Hopefully not like the kid whose head was smashed against the concrete.

Wife was an LD primary teacher for 35 years. She had some 8 year olds who were 5’6” and built like professional boxers. Her worst problem kids, though tended to be little ones who were some times quite strong and dangerous.
