I wonder how the campus and police woudl react if Jewish students loudly and forcefully protested and ran off palestinian speakers on the campus like the palistinian students do to Jewish Speakers
in the latter scenario- cops and the university don’t intervene stating ‘first amendment rights’ but I would wager that if Jews tried to do the same to speakers who are palestinian, or support palestinians, the Jews woudl be arrested on hate crimes
My youngest daughter graduated from UCSC some 20 years ago. She was heavily involved in Hillel activities, which did not involve politics. Back then, dorms were somewhat segregated, meaning a preponderance of Hispanics in one dorm building, etc. But little racism between groups. I would not want her attending now, with the political nonsense going on in the world.
Yup- in the 70’s, 80’s 90’ and 2000-2010 or so whenever oblama became president- we got along with everyone- never even gave race a thought- and the majority of folks believed in getting along too- BUT- along came oblama to incite the black community and cause extreme racial hatreds of white people and cops- and now everyone is suspicious of other groups- angry, and even violent- well, black folks are violent towards whites, asians, and maybe jews too- mexicans hate us (Illegals i mean- giving us all the finger and telling us they are untouchable- those who go through the migration process legally are decent folks), and there is just so much hatred now- oblama and his ilk sure got what he set out to achieve-
I don’t think we are ever going to get back the 70’s - 2010 or so- That America is long gone thanks to the destructive antiamerican hatred of the left-
