Just reminds me of when the UK House of Commons passed a censorship law that was off the charts.
The House of Lords then vetoed it, and a wise commentator (not me, this time) noted that the UNELECTED House of Lords had to put a leash on the ELECTED House of Commons.
That’s how bad ‘democracy’ can become when you allow people to vote in a system that was never designed to handle their ‘characteristics’.
I didn’t think Lords could do that anymore.
