Anti-Israel protesters tried to stop the New York Times from rolling out of its Queens printing facility early Thursday — before 124 were later arrested while shutting down the Gray Lady’s Midtown HQ, sources told The Post.
The mob first descended just before 1 a.m. on the 300,000-square-foot printing hub in College Point — which also prints The Post — littering the access road to prevent trucks from collecting newspapers for delivery.
The protesters — many masked and wearing traditional Palestinian keffiyeh scarves — laid down, linked together with tubes to create a human chain, blocking one of the largest printing facilities in the country, which also produces the Wall Street Journal, Newsday, and USA Today, the NY times.
Hours later the world still rotates accurately and on schedule.
My wife fixed our breakfast, and I fixed our lunch.
We will take a small walk at about 2:30 pm.
My wife will be making her great cooked from scratch chicken soup/stew for dinner in spite of those undelivered fish/wraps in NY City.
Our family members, who still work for a living, all made it safely to work and East Coast members will be finishing their workday and heading home or doing their home office stuff. Other family members will finish their 8 hour days and head home a little later.
RE: printing hub in College Point — which also prints The Post
That answers that. The NY Post is also in danger. A bad thing.
P.S. Thanks for posting that information we didn’t get elsewhere.👍
