I wish I could have gotten a better source than the WaPo, but it’s all I’m finding right now. This is about the rescue that included Mitch Albom. I pray there will be more.
Also, there is mention of a USMC unit sent in today to secure the US Embassy.

I was listening to the Mitch Albom show on 760 AM. I catch it once or twice a month when I’m driving home from Cleveland.
I don’t listen to it that often so I’m not familiar with the voices.
They talked about 10 evacuees being jammed into a chopper that holds only 4 passengers and then being told they couldn’t land. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how their story would end.
