"The Pentagon will rush about $300 million in weapons to Ukraine after finding some cost savings in its contracts, even though the military remains deeply overdrawn and needs at least $10 billion to replenish all the weapons it has pulled from its stocks to help Kyiv in its desperate fight against Russia, the White House announced Tuesday."
Weren't Covid mandates based on "military readiness"? Seems to me the stockpiles are being drained at the expense of national defense needs. And no, Ukraine is not part of that.
Or we're being lied to again.

When Clinton was president, he ran the bullets and bombs down to near zero. When Bush took over, he personally called the CEO’s of the companies making those things and said, “Go to 24 hour shifts. We’ll pay for it after I take office in January.” They did and he did. I was at General Dynamics at the time. The CEO sent a global email outlining the conversation.
