Methane makes up 0.00017% of the atmosphere. Is that really a problem?
You speak logic. That's not a language the left's cult followers understand. They can sheepishly support banning natural gas today even if it's just a few years after they called on the gubment to force power companies to switch from coal to "clean burning natural gas".
Bull crap like that is why I looked at ways to make my home more energy efficient (honestly what I should have done long ago). I also looked into producing most of the energy we consume (with solar). I wish I could produce my own natural gas or coal or gasoline. But I can't. Don't be surprised if in the near future more conservatives and libertarians living in the south (good area for decentralized solar) are doing like I'm doing. It's why we also have an EV as the car we usually drive (not worth going that far like I did unless you also drive a lot of miles like we do -- 26K miles per year with 16K of them charged at home).
Solar isn't my preferred energy source, but it's the one I can harness directly without having to buy it through the over-regulated energy market and provide 80% of the power my all-electric house consumes (again, think good for the south but not north). EV's aren't my preferred cars of choice, but it's the only type of car I can drive that utilizes the only energy I can produce (at least for local driving and the first 200 miles of long trips). It's a good feeling to not worry about the Dims messing up power rates or natural gas rates or gasoline rates in a way that messes up my retirement financial planning (like I'm sure they'll do after the election unless Trump wins).
