Students and teachers will be able to speak freely about sexual orientation and gender identity in Florida classrooms, provided it’s not part of instruction, under a settlement reached Monday...

In fact, the lawsuit was dismissed and the law as written stands. The pro-homosexual crowd tried fear mongering about what the law said, and this settlement basically reiterates what the law says plainly.
The media and the Democrat party are illiterate and so pretended that the law wouldn't allow a book that has a homosexual character.
good grief. in reading the settlement, they might as well rescind the law there’s so many loopholes that are now codified.
In Youth Protection training for both the BSA and our church, one of the reportable violations of policy is adults’ talking about sexual matters with minors.
There goes class time for reading, writing, math, history, etc.
All a teacher has to do is make a comment to a hand picked student and off the class goes into Pronoun-Land.
They can talk about it all they want as long as the kids and parents can hit back and talk about it the way they want with no repercussions..
Example: “No, there’s only two genders and your delusional reality is a known gender dysphoric psychological disorder so to sum it up you’re a reatard that should be institutionalized. Want to discuss pronouns?”
I doubt it. Once this “guidance” is given, more attention and time monitoring will undoubtedly be scrutinized by the Board of Education. While non-instruction time is open to discussion on these topics, there will be plenty of reason for the state’s education authorities to make sure teachers are focused on teaching.
The homosexual lobby just opened itself up to more monitoring of how classroom time is managed.
Well I oppose ‘all’ Goverment involvement with any sexual education of students at any level in public schools. Clearly it’s done nothing but confuse and harm students.
That should include mocking and ridiculing the evil of LGBTQ perversion.
At some point they have to be stopped.
I mean stopped.
Or, they an bring up the fact that 2% of the population (homosexuals) is responsible for 70% of HIV infection cases. That the homosexual lifestyle is rife with destructive health hazards. That queer men/women die at much younger ages than the general population.
Without addressing that directly, what's the point of unenforceably trying to micromanage their behavior?
Oh that means Jesus can be discussed as well as long as He’s not part of the curriculum.
I have no problem with students personally discussing sexual things with themselves, but it is not a topic for the classroom, period.
The teachers can neither be relied on to be unbiased, nor is it fare to put them in the position of possibly needing to arbitrate students opinions in discussing the topic. It will be near impossible for teachers to be agnostics all around, being neither pro nor con on any side. Lastly, the students do not NEED the discussions to be handled in the classroom.
These schools are practicing medicine without a license or training to do so. Sue them on that. And fire them. see how far they get.
