Wait! There was a budget passed by Congress and approved by the President? I missed that headline; all I see is Continuing Resolutions and Emergency Spending Bills, mostly as vehicles to send more money to Ukraine because the alternative would be to spend money protecting our border and promoting peace in the Middle East as well as Ukraine/Russia instead of promoting and funding war efforts.

The word "Budget" is an artifact of the American Form Of Government, where both houses of Congress would agree on a bill, which would be presented to the President for signature to become law or be subject to veto. All back when the government was run by grownups who could agree on some things and make stuff happen. Today, that form of government has been replaced by the excessive use of Executive Orders and Regulation that replace Legislation.

I would dearly love to see a USSC case that declares any piece of legislation concerning spending other than an actual budget declared unconstitutional!

Our side has let the budget process get watered down so badly its almost a non-entity. We dont have the cajones to wait the hard left out and they know it so sooner or later they get some of what they want. Never out side always theirs.
this is what happens when you pay attention 24/7 and never give up or give in.We cave over and over.
