French President Emmanuel Macron met with parliamentary parties on Thursday. During the meeting Macron said he was open to the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, as announced by, according to French newspaper L’Independant.

Fabien Roussel, a representative of the French Communist Party, said after the meeting that “Macron referenced a scenario that could lead to intervention [of French troops]: the advancement of the front towards Odesa or Kyiv.”

He noted that the French President showed parliamentarians maps of the possible directions of strikes by Russian troops in Ukraine.

Following the meeting, Jordan Bardella of the far-right National Rally party noted that “there are no restrictions and no red lines” in Macron’s approach.

“Mystics” can be very powerful characters. Or, rather, Pattons mystical speculations are a sign of a very unconventional man, for a US Army general. They are the sorts that think outside the box and find unconventional solutions, or exploit vulnerabilities missed by the conventionally constrained.

Things move fast in the real world and conventional people often cant deal with the whiplash of rapid paradigm shifts.

Trump and Musk and others forcing change dont present as mystics (well, Musk has, sometimes, but that may be the drugs), but they are extremely unconventional.

I think Valerii Zaluzhnyi was ready for concessions with Russia. Luhansk Oblast and Donetsk Oblast, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Kherson Oblast except for the city of Kherson. Plus international recognition of Crimea. If they have to give up little bit more territory to appease Putin, so be it. I think Zelensky said no and fired Zaluzhnyi.

There are gas pipelines in Ukraine and Syria. Democrat war for “fossil” fuels.

The French people would probably riot if he tries that.

“The CIA and MI6 controls French Media.”

And you have discovered this how? The French have their own “deep state”, that they actually acknowlege and are proud of. You dont need the CIA for anything in France, they have their own agenda.

What guns are they going to drop unfired? I don’t need more but hell if the price is right, I can use it for a paper weight or door stop. It ought to be used for something. “Taking a Frenchman to war is like taking a violin deer hunting”.

—> Russia is only winning in Moscow’s media.

And on the ground as measured by territory captured and held.

So there’s that…

The US already has all the gas and petroleum it will ever need, and the Democrat war is against US domestic AND international production. The Democrats are all for “alternate energy” because their backers get a bigger markup and government benefits. The ratepayers and customers get fleeced.

Pull a source, or at least some rational analysis, for “Democrat war for “fossil” fuels”. Its one thing to throw @#£% at ones enemies, but that does not mean its true, and every lie you tell yourself only hurts you.

There is way more than enough true @#£% to throw at democrats.

No doubt at all. That’s exactly what made him the genius he was on the battlefield. But like anyone else, he was fallible in other areas. Like the often quoted idea he had to re-arm the German army, and invade Russia. It’s astonishingly tone deaf. I’ve been a grunt, and I’ve been in the field when we heard over the radio that the cease-fire had been signed. It’s hard to imagine anything more demoralizing then a few weeks later, some general wants you to join up with your former enemies and go back into the war against a frightfully powerful army. When one thing for the bitterness grunts had for the SS, and for Nazis in general, it’s truly astonishing that he could’ve thought that was anywhere possible. The reason I believe he thought it was possible is because he was an aristocrat by nature. He could clink wine glasses with German generals, and they could come to agreements . It never entered his mind the regular soldiers had all the war they wanted and had no desire to go back up against the Soviet army. But his race across France was astonishing, like you said, mystics and geniuses. Tesla was a genius, but at the end of his life he was a madman sitting on a park bench reduced to feeding pigeons.

Odessans will eventually revolt, like Crimea in 2014. Give them a few more years living under a fascist Kievan rump state.

But they did (eventually) re-raise and rearm the German army in the 1950’s. And that with almost all the field grade and up with prior service in the Wehrmacht. Like most unconventional sorts Patton was just - premature.

Patton had a keenly analytical mind and knew exactly where it was all going to go with the Soviets. Not a lot of people liked that message in 1945, but prophets are rarely honored, ever. But he was absolutely correct.

“Also, the slow pace is favorable to Russia.”

Good point and related analysis.

We are an impatient society that finds the slow grind hard to understand.

The Soviets had 12 million soldiers in 1945. And they survived Stalingrad. No way we were going to fight the Soviets. The Western Allies were intimidated by the Soviets. Everyone thought Patton was crazy.

Macron told the press: “Currently, there is no consensus on sending troops. But in this matter, nothing should be ruled out in the future.”

Yes, very perceptive, including France getting its a$$ kicked up around its ears.

The “3 day thing” is used by the Zeepers as some kind of fact.

It is an example of what leftists do to try and make something a fact. They make it up, repeat it over and over and hope others will accept it as the truth.

What are you ranting about?
You’re actually saying 3 years was “all part of the plan”?
