He was charged with rape, but then a video emerges suggesting it was consensual. So then he is accused of videotaping without permission, but the camera is in plain sight and now the purported victim can’t remember if she gave consent.

The guy is a dirt bag, but this hounding looks like lawfare.

Some may call him a dirt bag but others might call him prudently careful - the video proved he didn’t rape the accuser.

That seems a concise description.

This is one of the problems with two-party consent laws, that it also denies the ability to record proof of your side of the story when crimes are or are not committed.
