She’s a piss-poor senator. So of course she’s interested in staying in leadership. McConnell’s Liberty score, by the way, is 44%. So she’s worse than McConnell.

Capito needs to be primaried out. It is a travesty that West Virginia are sending such slime like Manchin and Capito.

a post she might want to move up to in the scramble for open roles after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced he would give up the top job in November. To move to the number three job, Cotton would have to leapfrog Ernst and GOP Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia who currently hold the number four and five positions respectively....
Perfect example of why the system is rotten: “might want to move up”, meaning, “It’s mine because I’ve paid my dues”. Bullsh!t.

Oh Lord, do not let Shelly get near or replace anyone. She is nothing but a grifter for 100 years. She would be another Nancy. You do not want her. When you live in WV you know all the politicians personally.
My observation of Joni Ernst is she was quickly assimilated into the McConnell orbit and groomed for leadership after being elected. She is a loyal soldier rewarded for doing their bidding. She is a dependent, not a leader.
I have never felt she is committed to MAGA. Just maintaining the structure of the status quo and the rewards it reaps for the power elite.

It’s way past time for term limits. These grifters shouldn’t be in their long enough establish a pecking order or any significant seniority. Let the Senate party leader be picked from 2nd term senators in a cage match using baseball bats and tire irons.
