Very unfortunate for a part of the world that has given folks a great lifestyle for many years. But crime follows wherever the money goes, and unstable governments in the islands appears unable to deal with it.

............I lived in a 795k condo about 6 floors up. Fantastic view of the Caribbean. Real estate agents had this condo at 795k. Bank foreclosures for same condo going (advertised) for in the 300’s.

The press is desperately hanging on. Very little is published about the daily crime. A murder will make the newspaper for one or two days. Then they drop it like a hot potato. Prosecutors average 5-7 years for murdering/slaughtering whitey. It’s colonial payback don’t you see.
