Rep. Barry Moore has defeated Rep. Jerry Carl in a rare incumbent-vs.-incumbent Republican primary spurred by a Supreme Court decision forcing Alabama to adopt redrawn congressional districts, NBC News projects.
Moore’s Super Tuesday victory is a win for the House Freedom Caucus — the band of far-right, anti-establishment rabble rousers that frequently clashes with GOP leadership and whose super PAC backed Moore. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., a former Freedom Caucus member, campaigned alongside Moore over the weekend in Alabama.Never
Carl, a member of the powerful Appropriations Committee and the Republican Study Committee, is more closely aligned with the business wing of the party.

the band of far-right, anti-establishment rabble rousers, like BLM? any cities burning?

” far-right, anti-establishment rabble rousers “

The big one is next Tuesday in Mississippi. Wicker the rino needs to be ousted.

These days, being a “strict Constitutionalist” is sounding more and more “out there” when you take into consideration how far beyond the Constitutions limits the FedGov has grown.
Think of “extra-Constitutional” governing bodies like the TSA, FAA, FCC, FDA, DoE (both Education and Energy), BATFE, etc... That have ZERO to do with any strict reading of Art 1 Sec 8 and have only been brought into existence because of the abuse of the “Commerce Clause”.
While some of these organizations, like the FAA and FCC, have a place in a free market economy... they should be disassociated from the FedGov and run more like the IEEE or Underwriters Laboratories as a consortium of industry entities.
Government would surely look more like what the Founders had in mind were the two of us involved and with the authority to bring 1789 forward to today.
If only...
