Georgia pushes group to sanction prosecutors as Fani Willis faces removal from Trump case

ATLANTA (AP) — A Georgia commission with powers to discipline and remove prosecutors needs only Gov. Brian Kemp’s approval before it can begin operations, possibly disrupting Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ prosecution of former President Donald Trump.

The state House voted 97-73 on Tuesday for Senate Bill 332, sending it to Kemp. The Republican governor has said he will sign the measure.

Though Kemp signed legislation last year creating the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission, it was unable to begin operating after the state Supreme Court in November refused to approve rules governing its conduct. Justices said they had “grave doubts” about their ability to regulate the duties of district attorneys beyond the practice of law. Tuesday’s measure removes the requirement for Supreme Court approval.

“Once this bill’s passed, this commission will be able to begin its real work, which is bringing accountability to those rogue prosecuting attorneys who abuse their office, sexually harass their employees and do not show up for work,” Rep. Joseph Gullett, a Dallas Republican, told House members Tuesday.

This whole mess goes on because Kemp approves of getting Trump any way possible.

Doesn't make sense. There's a judicial qualifications commission in Georgia. Why not one for DAs.

Bit of trivia. In Georgia, DAs ARE judicial officers. " an assistant district attorney serves as an officer of the judicial branch of state government " https://law.georgia.gov/opinions/2009-2-0#:~:text=The%20office%20of%20a%20district,I%20of%20the%20Georgia%20Constitution.

According to the article he has said he will sign it. Of course he’s a lying sack of crap. It’s pretty obvious she is a dead @*?!*% walking. I expect Kemp will pile on to score political points since it’s most likely a done deal anyway. If so, once the Trump case is settled, perhaps this commission can help to get her disbarred.

If he were trying to do the right thing for justice, we would have been standing with pen in hand as it was rushed to him by his aids to sign it. Once it's off the front page he can let it languish like all double dealing RINO swine do. These folks will do anything to stop the People winning even once. Anything. Whatever the cost. I mean just look at Meghan and Lizzie and Dade Phelan and Nikki.

I’m not saying he’d ever do the right thing. However, if she’s obviously being kicked to curb, he’ll start stomping her if it scores cheap political points with those gullible Republicans in Georgia who’ve shown they’ll vote him.

Has it ever been determined that Kemp has not been threatened with his daughter (or other family members) being killed in a mysterious car accident like her boyfriend was? The Deep State and the left have shown they are pure evil and that they will stop at nothing to acquire and retain power.

Obviously, Judge McAfee has had a thorough FBI colonoscopy looking for blackmail material. If Big Fani remains on the case, we’ll know Wray’s goons found something.

IF FANI HAS ANY...ANY DIRT ON KEMP...WHICH I THINK IS VERY POSSIBLE...NOW, IS THE TIME TO COME OUT WITH IT.

KEMP HAS NOT BEEN A GOOD GOVERNOR, LEADER OR ROLE MODEL FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE.

However, Fani is so stupid, she probable is unaware of anything Kemp did wrong. And there are MANY things.

“Justices said they had “grave doubts” about their ability to regulate the duties of district attorneys beyond the practice of law.”

So perjury is beyond the practice of law?

With Kemp being a Chamber RINO, the last thing on his to-do list is to call off the Willis case against Trump.
