Supporters of Rick Ledesma and Madison Miner, members of the Orange Unified School District's Board of Trustees, who are targets of a recall campaign by a coalition of politicians and public employees' unions, rallied in Orange, California during the first weekend in March, 2024.

Ledesma and Miner are conservatives who favor academically rigorous curricula, parent's rights and charter schools and oppose the ideological indoctrination of students.

The rallies took place in Orange, on Chapman Avenue on Friday, March 1, and at the traffic circle in the heart of Old Town Orange the next day. On Sunday, March 3, they held one final rally before Election Day at Tustin Avenue and Meats Avenue . The election is set for Tuesday, March 5.

Rick Ledesma and Madison Miner are up against a powerful coalition that includes Planned Parenthood, the teachers' and school employees' unions, and powerful Democrats including the California Superintendent for Public Instruction. However, a grassroots coalition of parents, teachers, students and concerned citizens is fighting back. Despite rainy weather, a sizeable crowd turned our for the rallies this past weekend.

If anyone reading this is a voter in the Orange Unified School District, the election is tomorrow.

Filling out my ballot right now. There are 2 other ballots in the household and we will all be rejecting the sleazy recall plan.
