IMHO, even if it doesn't make a difference in this election (i.e. if the only states that allow illegal to vote are the sates that would vote Dim anyway, and today's EC counts and # of representatives in the House are driven only by the 2020 census until the 2030 census is taken)...

Even if I'm right in the above paragraph, the illegal change future elections from demographics alone. Frankly, I'm not as concerned about elections as I am about culture change by importing a bunch of people who don't appreciate the culture changes made by the 1st and 2nd Great Awakenings.

NOT if election laws in the States are enforced— ID and proof of citizenship being the same thing. Not a utility bill and address and registration on day of election, ballot stuffing etc.

Illegals may NOT vote-— it is a major Federal crime, if they are not naturalized. Mayorkas has been trying hustle dems in the Congress to blanket immunity— through the BILLION DOLLARS Ukraine bill that... makes them ALL legal.

This article is not about letting the illegals vote.

This is about something just as insidious — the counting of PEOPLE for purposes of determining how many representatives each state sends to the House of Representatives. It is one thing to count only citizens. It is another thing entirely to count all people, legal citizens AND illegal aliens.

If a liberal state gets two more reps (based on illegals) and a conservative state loses two reps, then the balance of power in Congress can easily tip.

Not to disagree with you but the Constitution requires counting persons. It says nothing about counting only citizens. Of course the Founders never imagined an uncontrolled invasion on the scale we’re experiencing. But then there are a lot of things about modern America that the Founders would have a lot of trouble believing.

California lost one seat in Congress after the 2020 census, but it did not actually lose population between 2010 and 2020. It just grew at a slower rate than the country as a whole.

As much of a disaster as the open borders are, I’m not sure they are going to turn into Dem voters. There are a lot of criminals and dregs of Latin American society - they get the publicity. But there also are a lot of hard workers. I see them every day. I suspect this is not going to be the boon that Dems think it will be.
