You can sue govt but it’s a process
Suing individual officers is a non starter usually they are indemnified
Not sure about appointees
Four maybe five are republican potus appointed out of 15
I think nine of remaining are Obama or Biden appointees
It’s amazing honestly
I’m surprised at first glance of the ruling

I’ll look when I have time. I thought Trump appointed 3 or 4 to DC appeals. In any case a decent judgement.
Obamaite figures it is worth reducing sentences at her level, rather than having a conservative SCOTUS perhaps incorporate other J6 cases, and issue a larger smackdown on Federal prosecutorial overreach. Weak sauce.
Was the enhanced sentencing related to enhanced interrogation?
And when will the political prisoners get the chance to share their stories?
