No. The Charging Bull was illegally dropped off by the artist as a gift a few blocks away and confiscated by police. They reinstalled in where it stands a week or so later. Expensive give, but the artist Arturo Di Modica could afford it. And he’s made reproductions for collectors who can afford it.
