Biden-Mart: Super PAC Launches Website to Compare Grocery Bills Now to What They Were Under Trump
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/biden-mart-super-pac-launches-website-compare-grocery/
EXCERPT:
The “Biden-Mart” website features an interactive checklist where users can “check off the items…to compile your weekly grocery list and see how much more expensive your bill has become under Joe Biden.”
“Putting food on the table has become harder than ever thanks to ‘Bidenomics,’” the website explains. “As costs for everyday items continue to rise, American families are struggling more and more to foot the bill.”
For example, under Trump, a two-pound pack of ground beef, five pounds of potatoes, a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs, and a pound of coffee was $17.32.
The same grocery order is now averaging $26.05 under Biden.

Concern Over Food and Water Supply Grows Among Europeans

And, as Statista’s Anna Fleck reports, it’s not just Spain afflicted with this problem: The EU Commission’s Joint Research Center sounded the alarm earlier this year over how prolonged drought events have affected Europe for more than two years already and northern Africa for as many as six, which is “causing water shortages and hampering vegetation growth.”
EXCERPT:
Food and water supplies were not considered a particular issue among Europeans for a long time. But new data illustrates how that is starting to change.
According to a survey by Statista’s Consumer Insights, as many as one in four respondents in France said that food and water security was one of the biggest challenges their country faced in 2023.
The proportion was similarly high in the United Kingdom (24 percent), Spain (24 percent) and Italy (23 percent).

Dairy Cows Across US Infected with Highly Pathogenic Bird Flu
https://vigilantnews.com/post/dairy-cows-across-us-infected-with-highly-pathogenic-bird-flu/
EXCERPT:
* The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), along with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has reported that a Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), initially detected in dairy cows in Texas and Kansas, has now spread to additional herds in Michigan, Idaho, and New Mexico.
* Spread of symptoms among the Michigan herd also indicates that HPAI transmission between cattle cannot be ruled out; USDA and partners continue to monitor this closely and have advised veterinarians and producers to practice good biosecurity, test animals before necessary movements, minimize animal movements, and isolate sick cattle from the herd. Among the dairies whose herds are exhibiting symptoms, the affected animals have recovered after isolation with little to no associated mortality reported.
