A fraternity at the University of Miami is under investigation for an alleged hazing incident that occurred on campus.
According to a Thursday article from The Miami Hurricane — the university's campus newspaper and the first to report it — a leaked video that been circulating around...

No one was hurt. No one was threatened. There was, essentially, a loss of a gallon or two of milk.
The Democrat party sycophants who pretend to be journalists are ignoring the destruction of America by Biden. Instead, they're focusing on college kids playing around with pledges.
Grotesque and illegal activity by yet more idiotic frat boys.
Not exactly something to run in the defense of.
It is not only a human interest story, but bozos hazing pledges infamously take it too far into humiliation, torture and death.
They are both gross and idiotic—and in a college town it is unquestionably a story.
Biden isn’t destroying America. obama is.
Some people just don’t get it, I was in a fraternity and what was described in this article is mild compared to what went on in the 70s.
The black fraternities at UF in the 70s were far worse than anything we did, Omega Phi Psi a black fraternity actually branded their pledges, an Omega symbol was branded onto their arms.
One of the things I did when I was a pledge was to get naked while the brothers dumped trash on top of us from the 2nd floor.
I agree with you. The black fraternities actually BRANDED their pledges at Pitt.
My fraternity, at the end of HELL WEEK, bent a coat hanger and heated it to glowing. They pretended to brand us pledges, but it was all AN ACT. They dumped a little blob of CANDLE WAX on us.
It was effective and generated the lifelong feeling of BROTHERHOOD in us which was what fraternities were all about.
If they convinced the pledges they had to lop off their junk, that would be okay.

This is big news in Florida and following the incident at FSU a few years ago. Florida has taken a zero tolerance stance to hazing now. see Andrew’s law. There is a lot that went into that.
I don’t have a problem with this being reported. This isn’t anything to do with distracting from Biden.
My best friends all these years later are still the Brothers from my fraternity days, did we haze and do stupid things, absolutely we did but how many people going to college on their own for the first time don’t do stupid stuff, fraternities don’t have monopoly on this type of behavior
Fraternities get labeled as a bunch of drunk rich white guys partying their way thru college, it’s generally coming from people who don’t really know what fraternities are all about or tried and didn’t get in a fraternity
At UF besides the white fraternities, we had black fraternities, Jewish fraternities and other racial and ethnic fraternities in the 70s
Of course, this was but part of the craziness of UF campus life in that era. The mass student disruptions and the Vietnam war were over, but other causes bubbled up and could be found represented in the student union and in front of the main library building. Hare Krishnas. The Revolutionary Communist Party. Lesbian Feminists. A street preacher named Jed.
With a VA hospital attached to the UF medical complex, there were also lot of head cases wandering the campus as out patients or on day release. Campus security was loaded with crony hiring and too many unfit officers. Street criminals and rapists found the UF campus and student community easy pickings.
Some good things were also gestating though. Gainesville boy Tom Petty was teaching himself how to play the guitar, write rock tunes, sing, and find and manage a band to success. "I Won't Back Down" is now a staple of UF football games, and the park that Petty enjoyed as a boy is now named for him.
I remember my first Halloween Ball that was held on the Plaza, when a guy wearing diaper, tied to a cross, with long air resembling Jesus Chris was being carried around in the crowd, along with a man and woman, naked and having sex in pubic. I figured by being there I was going straight to hell; it was a decadent as anything I had ever seen, and I was a freshman.
I think that I saw some of that event as well. Strange days indeed.
They were pouring MILK on a pledge. Milk.
No one was beaten, flayed, spanked, punched, pinched, etc.
Absolutely absurd for this to be made into a big “news” story.
It was hazing and it is a news story for many reasons. Doesn’t matter if it was milk, spit or vomit.
