Imagine these punks had to go 1 week without “flyover country.” No food. No water. Nothing trucked in. No electricity. No one to run the sewer plant. No garbage dumps. It would be glorious.
Let’s make that a month instead.
I’d go for taking the commodity exchanges out of NY and CHI and putting them where they belong.
I think it is fr jealousy and envy. They lead these complex lives that leave them unfulfilled and unhappy. IMO Happy people with a purpose in life would not care.

Less time than that. I remember the plight of the Coney Island high rise public housing dwellers after Hurricane Sandy. After three days they couldn’t flush the toilets cause the water was out, they couldn’t get up and down from the upper floors cause the elevators were out, they ran out of food, there was not heat or A/C.
