CNN UPDATES ITS REPORTING ON THE TEXT MESSAGES IN THE FANI WILLIS CASE TO CREDIT MEGYN AFTER PUBLIC SHAMING

On Wednesday’s edition of The Megyn Kelly Show, Megyn and attorney Phil Holloway exclusively revealed 31 pages of text messages between Ashleigh Merchant and Terrence Bradley related to the affair between Fulton County DA Willis and special prosecutor Wade.

The texts shed light on details Bradley repeatedly said he could not recall when he was on the stand on Tuesday in a hearing on the motion to disqualify Willis and Wade from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump and 18 other co-defendants. Merchant is representing defendant Michael Roman and was responsible for filing the motion in January. Bradley, meanwhile, is Wade’s one-time friend, law partner, and divorce attorney.

Given that the texts showed Bradley was very forthcoming with an array of information ranging from when the affair began (he said it was earlier than Willis and Wade testified) to who else might be privy those details (he helped Merchant track down Robin Yeartie), their release undermined the media narrative that Bradley was not the star witness he had been billed as. Perhaps that is also why several outlets were not quick to acknowledge the source of the information.

When a news organization or reporter is the first to obtain or source information, it is journalism 101 to credit whoever broke the news. That custom was apparently lost on CNN and Atlantic Journal-Constitution when it came to covering these text messages.

Late Tuesday, CNN published an article with the headline “Exclusive: Texts reveal shadowy role witness played in defense attorney’s push to disqualify Willis from Trump case.” The only problem? It wasn’t exclusive.

[snip]

By Thursday morning, CNN had taken down the original story that was billed as “exclusive” and replaced it with an error message.

CNN can't do "journalism" since they just usually report word for word what the Biden administration tells them to report. So after Megyn Kelly reported the contents of Terrence Bradley's text messages to attorney Merchant, they took that information and reported it as an exclusive!

How low can you go? When it is CNN, the answer is pretty low.

Here is the video of Megyn's show in which she reported on the text messages.

Saw that earlier. Megyn has been doing a stellar job on the Fani issue. Same for Phil Holloway on Megyn’s show.

First I’ve watched Megyn since her trump fiasco. But she is pretty good right now on this fani fraud.

It was not a error, it was fully intentional.

"It was not a error, it was fully intentional."

------

Of course it was. It was a low-down action of the type usually done by tabloids. CNN has sunk to the level where tabloid sites rank higher and have more viewers. How far they have fallen from their glory days of the 1990s.

This article (linked below) published yesterday in the firmly left AJC probably has the AJC subscribers snarling and spitting in anger.

‘This is huge’ - Text messages show how move to disqualify Fani Willis developed

The author, David Wickert, may find himself out of a job at AJC soon. He was obviously trying to peg attorney Merchant as under-handed but instead revealed that Bradley was lying on the stand.

BTW, the article was behind a paywall so I ran it through a paywall remover. Please excuse any formatting weirdness..

Megyn is getting information from someone in Trump's circle. She said “Trump's AG would probably be Mike Davis. Frequent guest on our show. “

Whatever feud that Trump and Megyn had is apparently long gone history now. The GOP & Trump do have 1 unifying thing right now. It’s the Radical Dems. Their scary Satlinist Nazi antics are concerning.

Can you imagine how Attorney Merchant felt when Fani Willis plopped her fanny in the witness chair and sat there and accused Merchant of lying? Repeatedly. Right to Merchant’s face, in front of the judge, and on live TV. I now understand a little of why Merchant appeared so flustered at the hearing that day. Her entire line of questioning had been thrown off by the objections and the judge’s sustaining of those objections while she had to stand there knowing Bradley was lying.

Merchant knew what she knew. She knew the truth. And she was prevented by the State’s objections to introducing that evidence. Those attorneys knew the truth as well. Speaking of attorneys, Megyn Kelly brought up a good point. Where is the attorney (Amy Cross?—Amanda?—I forget her name) who was there on the first day of the hearings. Her name is no longer on pleadings. Has she abandoned ship?

However, the information finally was revealed.

And, it’s possible we may see Bradley’s obituary in the near future.

“I wanted to reach through my TV screen and smack Fani.”

Same here. The attitude of entitlement was so appalling!

Anyone who is interested in this case should watch the Megyn Kelly video in full. There is so much info in there, and so much legal insight presented, that you can’t have a complete understanding of the case unless you do so.

The case against Trump et al in Fulton County is kaput, done, over, and final. Not only that but the tables have turned and now I believe the Fulton DA’s office “players” will be the ones charged.

(BTW, the missing attorney I mentioned up-thread is Anna Cross, private attorney and appointed special prosecutor, for Fulton County).

The Megan Kelly video scoop is well worth watching. It is a bit long, but she keeps it moving along and interesting.

It is very interesting the way she and Holloway tie so many little details together. I don’t think AJC has yet to revise their article to give Kelly the credit for releasing the info on the actual texts.

Closing arguments are today at 1:00. I’m sure streaming will be available at both YouTube and Rumble.

Meanwhile, Republicans are looking for someone to run against Willis for Fulton DA.
