No, and that’s why dems have latched onto the 14th Amendment route. It requires neither charging nor conviction of ‘insurrection’. To my knowledge no Confederate official was ever charged or convicted of insurrection but they were still banned from office.

The judge has decided that January 6 constituted an insurrection and that Trump was a part of it. Now how Trump could be or was involved in an insurrection against a government that he led requires a twist in logic that I cannot understand. But then the same dems say that men can give birth.

We are not living in ‘interesting times’ but rather bizarre times.
