A cold front went through tonight. Once the wind dies down, the fire will go out. No wind, no fire.

This has been the year of dry cold fronts. Just not a lot of moisture coming up from the Gulf. All the rain we have had has been in something less than a tenth at a time and the little bit of snow we had.
The one coming through right now is unusually blustery. We only had a little spit of moisture this afternoon.

Just looking at the fire map and the area up around Borger and Pampa. People back in the day used to get all hot and bothered about drilling locations. There does not seem to be any such resistance to windmill locations. They are everywhere out there!
