I don’t see much anxiety expressed by right-thinking voters concerning the likelihood that if the coming election is won by the ‘rats, the high Court will slide left and become just another weaponized agency of the administrative leftist Deep State.
If the Democrats win and Sotomayor retires, the liberal/conservative balance will remain the same. Of course there is no guarantee for anyone how much longer he or she will live so there is a danger that one of the conservatives might not survive until the next Republican President is elected (assuming that one will be at some point in the future).
