but what blindsided them (imho) was the Democratic lawfare that transformed President Trump from a potentially tough opponent to an Icon standing directly between Deep State political persecution and the average person.
This was new—they didn’t understand it—once they figured it out they bailed.
I say it was foolish to have even tried for the 2024 nomination.
