Officer: Mr. Odwag, you were going 55 in a 50 mph zone.
Me: Look, that may be true, but look at that first 50 I complied with. That is a lot.
The Nikki version of the traffic stop:
Cop: “You were going 55 in a 50 mph zone.”
Nikki: “Look what is important was that I was on an important errand to the hardware store.”
Cop: “Here is a ticket. That will cost you $100.”
Nikki: “Can you send the bill to the Koch family please. They can afford it.”
