Quite a bit of information is out there. Russian references to a defensive victory like the 1943 Battle of Kursk are ludicrous. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2023, while Nazi Germany invaded Russia in 1941.

As for the current alignment of forces, the war is essentially stalemated, but that could change depending on events, especially political and economic ones. What is clear though is that in the invasion of Ukraine, Russia lost her best troops and most modern equipment and is diminished as a military power without the ability to regenerate her forces.

There are history books out there that explain more than simply who attacked who in WWII. I don’t think the media masters have ever looked at the recent history of this area so you are clueless about it. The Russians fought multiple campaigns, defensive and offensive, on these battlefields. An 8th grade level history book will get you up to snuff if that is not beyond your ability to comprehend.
