The primary allowed Democrats to vote in the Republican primary.

My estimate is that somewhere between 100,000 and 150,000 Democrats and Democrat-leaning Independents voted for Nikki.

Republicans and Republican leaning Independents have voted and polled for President Trump in the 75-25 range in all regions of the country.

The Democratic crossovers reduced that number to 60-40 in South Carolina.

Tip for next Tuesday.

Michigan is also an open primary—but Nikki caught some tough luck.

The hundreds of thousands of Arab voters in Michigan are upset Biden didn’t declare war on Israel—and they have a reasonably well organized campaign on the Democratic side to win uncommitted delegates from Michigan.

Their effort probably will not work—but that has forced the Biden folks to make the effort to get Democratic turnout in the Democratic primary in Michigan.

That means Nikki is out of luck.

Michigan should be a brutal rout on the Republican side. Polls currently show President Trump with a fifty point lead.

Even if they are off by ten or fifteen percentage points it will be another Nikki debacle to add to her list.
