Of course they act unethically on a daily basis, but that doesn’t mean we should not point out when they have broken their own ethical standards. This last move by CBS has shocked the few honest journalists left. Even the dishonest ones are self-serving and realize that this unprecedented move by CBS management will hurt them in the long run. Anonymous sources will dry up.
I chuckle at “Anonymous sources will dry up.” No problem, journalists today will just make things up to fit their agenda.
