As lovely a man as Ben is ( and he is! ), he is a LOUSY politician, is too old to then run for president in 2028, has baggage ( remember the primary debated in '16? ), and not the right fit for VEEP.

The problem is.......there are now NO people at all, whom I can think of, who WOULD be a great pick for Trump AND I really worry about the people advising Trump!

You aren’t alone in that. Trump is too nice sometimes and he misses seeing the treachery that some engage in with him. I remember Rush saying that once a long time ago.

This time he has to be more than careful and trust no one until they actually prove trustworthy.

Nice words and campaign rah rah speeches mean little. Actions do.

The VP slot may seem unimportant to many but we can see from the 2020 history that just isn’t so. A treacherous VP can do a lot of damage.
