Merchant told the judge during the hearing that she had subpoenaed that information and was waiting on it from the cell company. This should be interesting.
On a side note, the oral arguments at SCOTUS on the Fischer case (Whether the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit erred in construing 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c), which prohibits obstruction of congressional inquiries and investigations, to include acts unrelated to investigations and evidence) is scheduled for April 16. For some reason, I thought oral arguments has already taken place but I must have been thinking of another case.
I believe this further delays Jack Smith’s cases against Trump since he has to wait for the SCOTUS decision in order to proceed with he obstruction charge against Trump.
I’ve made a note on my calendar so I can post a thread on that date in case anyone wants to listen to the oral argument.
